Right before finals were to take place for the Emory School of Nursing students, we popped up in the lobby of 250 E Ponce with coffee and doughnuts in tow to learn about their latest projects and goals for the upcoming year.
As students – even those who are normally virtual – became trickling in for their finals and Head-to-Toe tests (exams that must be completed prior to moving on to their practical nursing programming), we greeted them with Revolution Doughnuts and hot cups of Joe. While sipping and snacking, we got the inside scoop on their current curriculum, study habits, and even the online learning experience for those attendees that were typically remote-only.
When polling participants, we learned the students were going interested in a variety of different healthcare fields:

Lastly, we asked them to share their 2023 collaboration goals. The responses ranged from “volunteering” (6.9%) to “research” (10.3%), but an outstanding 37.9 percent all had one goal on their mind – graduating!
